Sculptural and enchanting, Maison GEORGES HOBEIKA’s Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2018/19 collection illuminates and magnifies the beauty of the gesture and the grace of the movement by imagining evanescent silhouettes that transform precious fabrics into the swirling lightness of Swan Lake and the poetic sensation of renewal enhanced by the spectacle of nature.
Bringing together the precious essence of creativity and the ease of incomparable craftsmanship, GEORGES HOBEIKA infuses into his Fall-Winter 2016-17 Haute Couture collection the virtue of peace contained in heavenly lanterns flying high into the starry evening and spreading, in a bright twinkle, their message of love and harmony.
This symbol of hope is expressed by the vivid glow of a spectacular blossom that feeds a cloud of delicate lace. Sometimes carved out of shantung silk; sometimes composed of crystals and pearls in generous volume, the lotus flowers display the opulence of their foliage on fine fabrics — metallic lace, organza embroidered with silk, gazar and crepe – and communicate a deep impression of cheerfulness and unity.
