Supermodel Adut Akech is on her way to the Versace Fall-Winter 2020 fashion show. She reflects on the themes of the collection – equality and inclusivity – as she heads to the House’s first co-ed runway presentation.
The House has always been synonymous with sensuality and self-confidence, and Akech embodies these characteristics. Never afraid to express a strong point of view, the collection is for those who do not dress to please everybody: the supermodel recalls her favorite Versace moments and her style – on and off the runway.
When Gianni Versace launched his company in 1978, the world took notice and the celebrities came calling. One of the first major labels to realize the value of the supermodel and put fashion on an international media platform, Versace will always be considered fashion royalty.

The new campaign for Gucci Gift imagines a holiday party in an office with a retro 90s setting. When the clock strikes five, Gucci-clad co-workers transform into festive clubgoers. In between joining the conga line the colleagues unwrap gifts from the line-up, including wooly GG jacquard scarves and hats, and GG Marmont bags and the Gucci Tennis 1977 sneaker in multi-color metallic sequins.
“It’s a big trip in my personal garden which is mine but also Gucci’s, and it expresses all the ideas of me, all of my obsessions,” Alessandro Michele.
Looking at the first unified Gucci fashion show, the Women’s and Men’s Fall Winter 2017 Collection.
