Felix Wagner und Aaron Röbig sind unter dem Decknamen FJAAK als DJ-Duo und seit Kurzem als Labelväter der gleichnamigen Schallplattenfirma bekannt. Die Zwei haben sich selbst bereits als «techno boyband from Berlin» beschrieben, spielen aber entgegen der Erwartungen keine Musik von Take That, *NSYNC oder den Backstreet Boys, die wohl öfter mit dem gefallenen Begriff assoziiert werden, sondern elektronische Spielarten wie Techno, Breakbeat und weitere Klubmusik aus dem Vereinigten Königreich. Seit 2014 führen sie nun zu dritt das Label FJAAK und legen unter demselben Namen in Clubs wie dem Berghain auf. 2018 veröffentlichten sie ihre zweite LP „Havel“, benannt nach dem durch Berlin-Spandau fließenden Fluss. Bisher erschien auf jeder Kompilation des seit 2019 existierenden Labels SPANDAU20 ein FJAAK-Track — ohne FJAAK kein Spandau 20.

Les deux acolytes varient les plaisirs avec une techno très pulsée, du breakbeat et dautre genres de musiques électroniques anglo-saxonnes. Heureux parents de leur propre label fondé en 2014, quils ont tout simplement nommé FJAAK, on a déjà pu les retrouver aux commandes des platines des plus grands clubs dont notamment celles du Berghain à Berlin. Ils sortent leur deuxième LP Havel en 2018. Habitués des compilations du label SPANDAU20 fondé en 2019, FJAAK promet ce soir de nous délivrer un set danthologie.

In today’s society, we are constantly encountering many forms of agony. Designer Masanori Morikawa contemplates the different paradoxes of life. Apart from coming up with his own set of key words for this collection, he also drew inspiration from Yoko Ono’s book — Grapefruit. The book was an early example and a pillar for conceptual art. Taking references and various elements of “Piece” into uniforms and military motifs, CHRISTIAN DADA reconstructs them with its own interpretations.
Throughout seasons the brand continues exploring the interplay between art, fashion and origins. The original ring buckles are now added with traditional Japanese arabesque patterns and embroideries are also evident all over the designs giving bold statements.
Many pieces also include poems and lyrics, instead of drawings or pictures. One would witness dark colorways, cut off ragged edges and aged-looks made by different kinds of garment dyeing and processing in CHRISTIAN DADA’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection “PIECE” — reaffirming CHRISTIAN DADA’s decadent yet sophisticated attitude.
