Lusine - "Twilight"

At the heart of Lusines 2009 full-length A Certain Distance lies the song Twilight, a placid, vocal-led downtempo lullabye. If Two Dots, A Certain Distances luminous first single, was the albums knockout blow, Twilight is its victory lap—similar in scope and instrumentation but calmer in execution, its gently chugging drum programming and billowing puffs of Rhodes providing a weightless base for Vilja Larjostos voice, clear and knowing as ever. What do you know about the ancients? / What do you know about the future? Larjosto intones as the song walks on air, evoking an appropriately thoughtful mood to match the songs titular half-light.

The digital single of Twilight comes with three additional tracks. Lusines Crowded Room (Type A) reworks A Certain Distance`s dancefloor standout by bringing its ringing synth tones to the forefront and filling the background with eerie vocoded mumblings. Lusines own re-edit of Twilight (as an Elliptical Mix) whips the original into a delirious late-night confection, all bleary textures and four-on-the-floor momentum; while Spectral Sound alumnus Jeff Samuel adds his own techno spin to Twilight, spraying a thin mist of Larjostos vocals over a field of percolating hi-hats and hand claps.

Welcome to our 2019 sunset live performance at Mayan Warrior.

Back in 2018, we came to Burning Man for the first time and we were instantly captivated by the endless and wild impressions of the desert, the art, the music, and above all: the people. It was the same year that, due to a lucky coincidence, we were invited to play a late-night set at Mayan Warrior. Within moments, we fell in love with the art-car and all people surrounding it. We had a kind of musical epiphany there. So when we were formally invited to come back this year, playing a Thursday sunset concert, we didnt even have to think for a second. We were all hyped like crazy while at the same time feeling very humble about it. Visiting and playing at Burning Man, especially at this esteemed art-car, is something that really stood out in our lives so far. We will cherish this memory forever. It was second time we played our hybrid live-set, but definitely not the last.

Christian Löffler - Haul (feat. Mohna)

Haul feat. Mohna is a track by Christian Löffler, taken from his album Mare

Mare :: 33r.pm/cme

Mare is Christian Loefflers second studio album and follows in a similar vein to his self-released debut, A Forest. However a key difference is that while his first album was heavily sample-based, Mare is much more organic, in which nearly every sound and every instrument is self-recorded. Many of the albums ideas are based on field-recordings taken from the surroundings. On top of this, several microphones were set up in the room and left to run on for whole sessions. The microphones collected everything, from tapping, singing, playing, footsteps, as well as percussive elements.

432hz - "BEST OF" Carbon Based Lifeforms - psybient, chillout

«Best Of» C.B.L. at 432hz.

Music is set at 440 Hz, a decision confirmed by a 1975 standard which becomes an international standard…
But it is this very change that is problematic for some people.
They believe that a frequency at 440 Hz is harmful and that the “right” frequency that aligns with the Earth is 432 Hz.
