Back in 2018, we came to Burning Man for the first time and we were instantly captivated by the endless and wild impressions of the desert, the art, the music, and above all: the people. It was the same year that, due to a lucky coincidence, we were invited to play a late-night set at Mayan Warrior. Within moments, we fell in love with the art-car and all people surrounding it. We had a kind of musical epiphany there. So when we were formally invited to come back this year, playing a Thursday sunset concert, we didnt even have to think for a second. We were all hyped like crazy while at the same time feeling very humble about it. Visiting and playing at Burning Man, especially at this esteemed art-car, is something that really stood out in our lives so far. We will cherish this memory forever. It was second time we played our hybrid live-set, but definitely not the last.

Die Berliner Clubkultur steht vor der größten Herausforderung ihrer Geschichte. Am Freitag, dem 13. März wurde das gesamte Berliner Nachtleben behördlich stillgelegt, um die Ausbreitung des Coronavirus zu unterbinden. Damit sind mehr als 9.000 Mitarbeiter*innen, sowie zehntausende Kunstschaffende schlagartig ohne Beschäftigung und die vielen, für Berlin identitätsstiftenden Orte stehen vor dem Ruin. Als Antwort darauf, dass in Berlin die Clubs geschlossen sind und auch der Rest der Welt in Quarantäne sitzt, unterstützen sich Berliner Clubs, Veranstalter*innen und Künstler*innen untereinander und starten ab Mittwoch, den 18.03.2020 den größten virtuellen Club der Welt: #UnitedWeStream.
Ab 19 Uhr wird es einen täglichen Live-Stream aus Berliner Clubs wie z.B. dem Watergate, Tresor, Kater Blau, Rummels Bucht, Griessmuehle, Sage Club, Salon zur Wilden Renate, Sisyphos, Anomalie, Zur Klappe uvm. geben.

— Vendredi 13 mars, la vie nocturne berlinoise s’est arrêtée, suspendue par les autorités pour freiner la propagation du coronavirus. Un défi sans précédent pour les clubs de la capitale allemande. Du jour au lendemain, plus de 9 000 salariés ainsi que des dizaines de milliers d’acteurs culturels se retrouvent au chômage technique.
De nombreux lieux emblématiques de Berlin risquent la faillite. En réaction à la fermeture de tous ces lieux et au confinement d’une bonne partie de la population mondiale, les clubs berlinois, les organisateurs d’événements et les artistes ont décidé de se serrer les coudes en ouvrant les portes, dès mercredi 18 mars 2020, du plus grand club virtuel au monde: #UnitedWeStream.
Tous les jours à partir de 19h, un live stream sera proposé en direct des clubs Watergate, Tresor, Kater Blau, Rummels Bucht, Griessmuehle, Sage Club, Salon zur Wilden Renate, Sisyphos, Anomalie, Zur Klappe et bien d’autres.

“BUTTERFLY OF PARADISE”
For his second Couture collection presented at Westin hotel in Paris, Ziad Nakad offers his own vision of a universal garden where butterflies and flowers are the main symbols of his inspiration.
Tradition and modernity combine to each silhouette giving the appearance of a sparkling bouquet of summer flowers.
Laser cutting, three – dimensional shapes and sophisticated insertion of embroidery are a reminiscent of the butterfly structure and its extreme delicacy.
Its metamorphoses appear through various cuts; wide or narrow, short or long or even asymmetrical for an audacity touch.
The color range is mainly pastel: salmon pink, sky blue, shiny gray and it also evokes the color of honey.
Belts accompany some dresses to assert the size. Set with jewelry or bronze in shapes of butterflies embroidered with Swarovski stones.
The handbags as well complement the silhouettes.
In this marvelous garden, a fabulous bride appears in an astonishing dress with a volume entirely embroidered with embossed butterflies.
For this collection, Ziad NAKAD remains faithful to his vision of elegance where technicality and attention to detail are the key words of his work and know-how.
