Taking inspiration from art in order to create art in a new form. Taking inspiration from an impressionist painter in order create impressive attires. Such was the aim of Georges Hobeika for his Autumn Winter 2014 collection, drawing the setting of his fashion show from the paintings by Modet of his gardens in his Giverny. As a matter of fact there was a floral triumph in the prints of the fabrics, with three dimensional embroideries as well as birds decorations. However there were as well monochromatic garments which were alternated to the colorful ones in order to give a short pause between such triumph of colours. The fabrics were mainly quite light to be an autumn winter collection, often even transparent. Furthermore the attires exhalted the female curves very elegantly. The effect is not fictitious, but extremly natural; the models are at ease wearing the garments, not at all strifing. A characteristic that enhaced further the glamour of the catwalk was the style of each model, who had a very simple make up with a fascinating red lipstick and the hair gathered as in a bridal occasion.
