When Gianni Versace launched his company in 1978, the world took notice and the celebrities came calling. One of the first major labels to realize the value of the supermodel and put fashion on an international media platform, Versace will always be considered fashion royalty.

This set is based on the concept that music is a universal language, where borders do not exist; just emotions and feelings in each person who listens to it. Music revolves around the world to make itself heard. This concept should also apply to everybody. We must be universal and walk together in the same global village to live in a happier world.
New Years Day in Merzouga. Its 8:00 a. m. Outside the hostel the driver of the van is waiting for us to start the 3 hour journey through the stony and low sand desert (HAMADA) to Rissani.
Rissani is the gateway to the desert, former commercial capital and famous for its market. On the way to Rissani we dont stop, but we greet the nomads we meet on our way.
RISSANI is located near an oasis and there feels less dry compared to Merzouga. This city, with its miedeval appearance, can hypnotize you within its market where time stands still.
When you arrive, you can imagine that its Tuesday. Theres a lot of people on the street doing their shopping. To my right I see a halt with several donkeys where the market begins before entering the maze of wooden roofs, cane and cloth to protect the products from the sun. To my left I feel the presence of the army watching over the safety of everyone.
I decide to spend the day in the souk, visiting the merchants and discovering the culture of this city in its day to day.
Its time for a Berber lunch and a good mint tea before we start. The market has everything: hairdressers, food, fabrics, clothes, all kinds of repairs and crafts in brass and ceramics. It is a market with great charm and visual impact, especially in the spice stalls which are full of colour and traditional Moroccan aromas. Dozens of them sharpen all the senses.
