Winner of Triple Js Unearthed High competition for 2012, Asta, is set to release her debut film clip for her winning track, My Heart is on Fire. Teaming up with Sydney based company, Local Pony, Asta has delivered a fun and fresh take on My Heart is on Fire, showcasing her home state of Tasmania.
Asta approached the production of the clip with the origins of the song in mind. «I wrote the song one summer when we were driving along the Tasmanian coast. I wanted other people to experience what had motivated me, and be able to share it with me,» said Asta.
The clip is also a celebration of her Unearthed High status, keeping the youthful nature of the competition in the foreground, and hooking the audience with a cheeky story line. «The clip is a little bit fun and something different for me, and it allowed me to show off Tasmania at the same time!» said Asta.
Asta embraced the opportunity to perform in the clip, as it gave her a taste of another side of performing. «I love being on stage, and I cannot wait for what 2013 holds for me, on the stage and screen,» said Asta.

On January 21st, 2019, Iris van Herpen presented her latest Haute Couture collection, titled Shift Souls at Palais des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
The collection was inspired by early examples of celestial cartography and its representations of mythological and astrological chimera, Van Herpen was particularly taken with «Harmonia Macrocosmica,» a star atlas by the German-Dutch cartographer Andreas Cellarius, published in 1600.
With the advances in DNA engineering and the first successful creations of human/anima hybrids called Cybrids, the mythological dreams of Humankind since the dawn of civilization are shifting to the canvas of science. While the scientific and ethical implications of Cybrids are still unclear, this collection expresses the fact that this reality is upon us.
«For Shift Souls I looked at the evolution of the human shape, its idealization through time and the hybridization of the female forms within mythology. Specially the imagination and the fluidity within identity change in Japanese mythology gave me the inspiration to explore the deeper meaning of identity and how immaterial and mutable it can become within the current coalescence of our digital bodies” — Iris van Herpen
