Introducing the Carolina Herrera New York Summer 2021 Collection.

Notes from Creative Director Wes Gordon: “Fashion is healing for the soul. Its freeing and it can make you feel powerful. The women I design for seek beauty in all its forms and this collection is our gift to them.

When I first started to think about this collection and sketch, it was very emotional. It was in between lockdown and the gradual reopening of our atelier. Every time I came in to the city, to the garment district, to our offices to work with the team, it felt like falling in love with fashion all over again.

Fashion is a way to celebrate the beauty of special moments, and making ordinary moments extraordinary. And right now, I want each piece to be unmistakably Herrera. Colors more saturated. Volumes even more voluminous. Tailoring at its most feminine. Sleeves more dramatic. Polka dots always. Embroideries more luminous.
I wanted to create a collection that is a reflection of this moment in our lives, through the prism of optimism, color, and celebration of the women that have been part of the fabric of Carolina Herrera.

We believe in beauty. We believe in dreams. We believe the antidote to darkness is light. And we believe fashion is magical.”

This shoot took place in accordance with New York City production health and safety guidelines.

Since the dawn of time, pink has symbolized the essence of femininity, a weapon of conscious seduction.
In a world made up of people in a thousand different nuances, the Elisabetta Franchi FW2020-21 collection is a story in which women are protagonists; creatures that, with their thoughts and actions, have led us to prefer an imaginary world of individual personalities in shades of pink.

In un mondo fatto di persone colorate dalle mille sfumature diverse, sfila la collezione FW2020-21 di Elisabetta Franchi, un racconto che ha come protagoniste le Donne; creature che con i loro pensieri e azioni ci hanno portato a preferire un immaginario fatto di individualità nei toni del rosa.
